The First Annual Disc Golf

NEDOŽINKA – 2007, tournament

at Nedožinka, in Zarasai, Lithuania

will be played on May 12-13, 2007.


The Nedožinka Disc Golf Park in Zarasai, Lithuania, is operating and open to the public! It is the first permanent Frisbee Golf Course in Lithuania.

Nedožinka Disc Golf Course is an exciting, challenging course set in an idyllic, an old farm house with old fashioned Lithuanian charm, some open space, some tight fairways for the skilled.

The format of the tournament is as follows:

Competition One:
Saturday, May 12, 1st round at 10.00 18 holes
2nd round at 14.00 18 holes Recognition Prizes for the first 3 in both divisions
Competition Two:
Sunday, May 13 3rd round at 10.00 18 holes
Recognition Prizes for the first 3 in both divisions
Competition Three:
Combined overall: Competitions one and two together Primary prizes for the first 5 in both divisions

The entry fee is 10 Euros in the Open Division and 5 EUR in the Amateur Division.

Divisions: Open Pro and Amateurs (which includes Seniors over 50, Juniors under 19 and Women).

Nedožinka DISC GOLF PARK offers accommodation packages as well for the first 15 interested on location. Space for your own tent is available for free. Food will be available on the premises. On Saturday night there is a Grill Party, putting contests etc etc. The Grill Party with sauna is included in the entry fee. For more drinks, either BYO or there will be drinks available for a modest fee.

NEDOŽINKA DISC GOLF PARK is situated near from Zarasai, about 10 km nourtheast of Zarasai, on a beautiful Lithuanian. You will find the place most interesting. The driving time to Vilnius is about 2 hours and distance about 160 km.

DRIVING ISTRUCTIONS from Vilnius: Take Utena road, pass Utena from the right following signs to Zarasai.In the center of Zarasai pass church and turn to left following signs to Rokiškis. Go straight 5km and then turn to the right following signs Suviekas 13, go straight 4km and 200 m. and turn to right you see brown house .
If you come from Panevežys or Rokiškis, you must turn to left 5 km to Zarasai, the following signs Suviekas 13 and go straight 4km and 200 m. and turn to right you see brown house.
